Aaliyah Dana Haughton burst into fame in 1994, after she debuted her first album Age Ain't Nothing But an Number. The singer was only 15 at that time, and the album became Gold. This collaboration was heavily in the style of R. Kelly, and made her a star onto the scene. In 1996 she worked alongside Jermaine Dupri and Timbaland for her second album One In A Million which included the top-rated hit song If Your Girl Could Only Know. Following the debut of the album Aaliyah received international recognition as an R&B artist. She starred with the martial arts legend Jet Li in the romance-action film Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver spotted her in the awards ceremony. In 2002, she appeared in the vampire film Queen of the Damned based on the Anne Rice book. The Matrix Sequels saw her play Zee following her appearance on The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions that same year. The artist has won four Grammy nods for 1999 2001 2002 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is the first generation Indian-American from Connecticut. The stage name Mann is an abbreviation of her married name Mankad. But, she has both Aarti Mann as well as Aarti Majumdar as her professional name. Her acting career began in mid-2000's with minor roles on TV and films. Other than The Big Bang Theory her other notable works are Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2017). In addition, she was a part of several commercials including Volvo and other major automobile brand names. She is currently working on her acting career with her home in Los Angeles, where she lives with her husband and daughter.
