Aaliyah Daniel Haughton made her way into fame in 1994 when she released the release of her first album Age Ain't Nothing But an Numer. When she was just 15 the album was awarded Gold recognition. The collaboration was strongly in the style of R. Kelly, and put the singer in the spotlight. In 1996 Jermaine Durpri and Timbaland collaborated to produce her sophomore album One In A Million. The album included If Your Boyfriend Only knew as the lead single one. Aaliyah's second album called One in a million, was released in 1996. It contained the number-one song, a huge hit,"If You Girl Only Knew. She appeared alongside the martial arts legend Jet Li in 2000's romance-action film Romeo Must Die. The Matrix Sequels was her first appearance in The Matrix Sequels. She had also appeared as a character in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2007). Aarti is a combination of Aarti Majumdar and Aarti Munn for her professional names. Her acting career started in the the mid 2000's, with a few appearances on television and in films. Some of her most notable roles include Grey's Anatomy, Suits and Leverage. The actress has also been featured in major commercials featuring brands like Volvo the world's largest auto producer. The actress currently resides with her family in Los Angeles along with her spouse, daughter, and husband. She is also pursuing her acting profession.
